Joseph B. Reilly, President/CEO of Centrix Bank (OTC Bulletin Board: CXBT), presented Russell Marcoux, Bedford Town Manager, with a $5,000 donation. The contribution was awarded as part of the Bank’s Community Outreach Program (COP).
The donation will be used to support the Town of Bedford’s project to replace five municipal signs located at all major entrances to the town. The signs will be placed along routes 114, 101, 293 and 3A (on the north and south sides).
“Assisting the Town of Bedford with this project enables Centrix the opportunity to reach out to this thriving community in which we live and work,” commented Joseph B. Reilly, President/CEO. “Centrix has its roots in Bedford. Our headquarters and operations center are based here, so lending our support to this initiative is even more important to us.”
Formalized in 2006, the Centrix Bank Community Investment Program provides the Bank with an annual giving process. Through this process, the Bank educates non-profit organizations and agencies about its giving policies and provides support in applying for assistance. The CIP includes an official Community Investment Policy document as well as a Community Outreach Program by which the Bank meets with elected officials in the towns and cities it serves to learn more about how it can connect with municipalities to provide grassroots support, such as financial donations, marketing assistance and volunteer support.
